We understand that everyone’s hog roast requirements and budgets are different. It is our aim to work closely with you to come up with the ideal menu for your event. Our Hog Roast prices are extremely competitive and we aim to fit within your budgetary requirements and needs quoting accordingly.

Westcountry Canapes

Canape size pasty’s (traditional steak, Cornish brie and cranberry)
Mini savoury Devon scones, topped with Dartmouth smoked salmon, dill and sour cream.
Honey mustard glazed chicken cocktail sausage flavoured with orange and juniper.
Award winning “Cornish Blue” cheese , on crunchy crostini, topped with a homemade fig chutney.

A selection of Westcountry cold meats and cheeses, served on large olive wood boards , to go on the table for your guests to help themselves when they first sit down.

Haytor cheese (made on Dartmoor, similar to the Swiss Gruyere)

Main Course

Traditional Westcountry Hog Roast
Freshly baked white and brown rustic rolls
Homemade sausage apricot and herb stuffing
Homemade cider apple sauce, made with our own “Piglet Cottage” cider

A chunky homemade quiche of roasted butternut squash, Cornish goat’s cheese, wild rocket, sweet roasted red onions and fresh sage, encased in a homemade cheddar, rosemary and thyme pastry .

  1. Summer green salad of organic mixed leaves, chargrilled asparagus ,baby broad beans
    chargrilled courgettes , fresh garden herbs and organic edible summer flowers.
  2. Baby plum tomatoes, Devon “Blissful Buffalo” mozzarella, marinated black olives, wild
    rocket and fresh basil.
  3. Homemade herby lemon coleslaw.
  4. Cornish new potato salad, with crispy smoked bacon, fresh chives and a homemade
    honey mustard dressing, garnished with purple chive flowers.
